In my never ending search for the best steam mops on the market, I decided to take a good hard look at the Shark Professional Steam Pocket Mop (S3601D). As I reviewed it, I noticed it was a product with quite a few great features. Today, we are going to take a look at some of them.
One of the things I liked the most about this product was that it utilized 2-sided cleaning with its patented Shark Steam Pockets. What that means is that you can dirty one side of the pad and then flip it over to use the other side. This is an enormous time saver that helps keep you from spending all of your time changing pads and instead helps you get more of your floor clean.
A couple of other things I liked about this steamer was that it had an extra large tank and Shark’s intelligent control system. These two features alone give you a great cleaning arsenal that can just about tackle any job.
The only complaint I have about this product—and many users will share this with me—is that it doesn’t have an on/off switch. The steam is always on and running. If you want to shut it off, then you have to unplug it. It would have been nice to have more control over the steam, but really that’s a small problem for such a rounded machine.
