There are quite a few companies that produce hybrid steam cleaner and vacuum models, but I have to say that Bissell is one of my favorite manufacturers. And one of the main reasons that is the case it their new Bissell 1132A Symphony All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop. I can honestly say that while it isn’t without its flaws, it is one of the best steam mops out there today.
What makes this steam cleaner so exceptional is that it is capable of destroying 99.99% of all germs and bacteria that exists on the floor. It also works as a vacuum, so it can not only sanitize but also suck debris up as well, and it can do this at the same time. A brilliant sort of engineering that takes the death defying feat of using water and electricity at the same time, and makes it very safe and very effective.
The only real drawback this device has is that it can’t be used on carpets or rugs. If you attempt to use it on them, then you might very well destroy them. This product is intended to be only used on hard surfaces such as sealed wood floors, tile and ceramic floors.
Overall, a very solid offering by Bissell that does what it is supposed to do. It works not only as a vacuum but also as a steam cleaner, and since it does it at the same time—it allows you to get your work done in half the time.
